Leekes continues store refurbishment with Cross Hands up next

Family-owned retailer Leekes has announced that it will be investing in refurbishing its store on Cross Hands Business Park, near Llanelli in South Wales.

This investment follows updates to its other store locations which have seen the retailer make enhancements to the furniture floor with the introduction of studios from leading brands such as Stressless, ercol, Orla Kiely and a new bed department/Sleep Zone that focuses on improving customer experience throughout the store.

The store will open its doors for its £5m store refurbishment sale to invited guests only for a one day sale preview on its furniture floor on Thursday 27th July before re-opening to the general public on Friday 28th July.

Emma Leeke, Managing Director said: “We are delighted to invite our previous customers back to the store to enjoy our private sale. We are so grateful for their support over very many years and wanted to reward them with the opportunity to have the first chance to select from our Refurbishment Sale bargains.

“We are looking forward to welcoming many of them to take advantage of the biggest sale savings we have offered and also snap up some of the great prices on ex-display furniture and conservatories as well as end of line carpets, clearance NEFF appliances and baths & showers.”

The team at Leekes Cross Hands has a full refurbishment of their furniture and bed floor planned for the autumn and, with many new displays of sofas, dining and bedroom furniture on order.

Charles Larsen, store manager, added: “We are looking forward to starting our store refurbishment later this year which will see a remodelled furniture floor, new carpet and flooring departments. Since opening in Cross Hands almost 40 years ago, Leekes have built an unrivalled reputation with our inspirational displays and excellent levels of customer service and it is important that we continue to retain this.”
