Kitchen furniture firm delivers strong year; warns of price increase

Kitchen furniture manufacturer Stoneham Plc has reported a growth in sales and profit.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2021, total sales rose 24.9% to £6.5m from £5.2m in 2020.

Gross profit increased from £1.6m to £2.3m, while pre-tax profit resulted at £362,162, up from £25,000 year-on-year.

Stated within its report, the company said that it delivered a strong year, creating a significant forward order position for 2022, as demand for home improvements remained high.

Stoneham added that pricing was increased twice during the period and warned that prices may rise further to reflect inflation.

Several new Stoneham appointed kitchen centres opened during the year, while its factory showroom was also renewed with a new display, décor and infrastructure.
