Kitchen furniture business almost doubles sales

Kitchen furniture business Raventree, trading as Premiere Kitchens, has reported a growth in sales as turnover almost doubled.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 March 2022, total sales rose 78% to £14.1m from £7.9m in 2021.

Gross profit increased from £2.8m to £4.7m, while pre-tax profit resulted at £700,000, up from £10,000 recorded in the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company said the results reflected a “return to more stable trading conditions” as the impact from Covid-19 “diminished”.

“Trading and profitability were at its strongest in the final quarter of the 21/22 financial year, providing a platform for further growth in 22/23. Sales have continued to grow and are well ahead of both the prior year and pre-Covid comparatives,” the business added.

Furthermore, Premiere has invested in its entire delivery fleet to the highest emission and safety standards in support of its growth and new mission statement.

The kitchen specialist has taken delivery of three brand new 7.5-tonne DAF LF180 which will be closely followed by two 18-tonne DAF CF260 and a further three more vehicles in March next year. All eight vehicles are approved to the latest Euro 6-E emissions standard and have the required specification to meet the Direct Vision Standard (DVS) for Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV’s).
