Kitchen furnishings supplier grows sales beyond £50m

Manufacturer and distributer of doors and accessories to kitchen retailers and makers, as well as furniture pieces, Uform, has reported a growth in sales.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 April 2022, total sales rose 37.8% to £55.4m from £40.2m in 2021. Pre-tax profit more than doubled to £5.8m, up from £2.7m recorded in the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company said UK sales experienced sales growth of over £10m to £39.7m, while revenues to Ireland increased from £11.2m to £15.6m.

“The kitchen manufacturing sector as a whole is currently demonstrating a resilience to the current economic challenges and this lends comfort to the board and provides a positive platform to further develop the strategy and future financial performance of the company.”
