King Living’s Kingston showroom launches virtual consultations

Furniture brand King Living has announced the addition of in-store and virtual consultation technology within the Kingston Bentall Centre showroom.

Customers and interior designers will be able to book a 45-minute slot with the in-store sales team to discuss furniture solutions without needing to make the journey in person.

Since the opening of the showroom in November 2022, King Living has attracted customers from across the South and Southeast of England who are often repeat customers. The ability to offer one-to-one consultations online will not contribute to King Living’s global customer base but offer a personal connection between the brand and customer even from home.

Customers will also have the ability to book in-store 45-minute consultations with a member of King Living staff to ensure they receive the exact help and advice they need for their project or home renovation. From the beginning King Living has eschewed the traditional ways of making furniture.

As part of its innovative approach King furniture also integrates technology in ways no one else has achieved. From smart charging stations, motion-controlled lighting, sound system integration and world-class recliner technology, and now virtual consultations.

King Living is a family owned, heritage furniture brand which has proudly set the benchmark for Australian furniture design since 1977.

With a focus on sustainability and promoting the ‘King Difference,’ King Living furniture is designed by its dedicated in-house Australian design team and is built to last a lifetime. Its collections centre around its core sofa business and spans solutions for the entire home category, including dining, bedroom, outdoor and office.

Founder David King comments: “We are thrilled by the success of our first UK showroom. London is one of the most incredible destinations in the world for design, and opening a second showroom is testament to our innovative approach to furniture design and timeless appeal that translates on a global scale.

“We wanted the space to reflect the Australian way of living and evoke the nostalgia of a home, taking customers on a journey through our curated collections and aspirational lifestyle settings. The Kingston Showroom does just that. The virtual consultations will allow customers from all over the UK to experience a one-to-one session before making the decision to visit in person. We can’t wait to welcome our virtual customers.”
