Kent independent expands with new store launch

Kent-based independent furniture retailer Kent Beds & Sofas has expanded its presence with the opening of its fourth store.

The retailer has launched its new store in Wincheap, Canterbury, adding to its other three locations in Ramsgate, Folkestone and Sittingbourne.

The new store officially opened on 29 July.

Commenting on the opening, the business said: “A huge thank you to all the team who have worked so hard over the past few weeks to get our massive new Canterbury showroom ready for opening.

“It is a huge team effort to get a new showroom open, and everybody has worked tirelessly, in the hottest temperatures ever recorded in Kent.

“We have proudly served the people of Kent over the past 11 years from our existing stores, and customers have already been flocking to the new showroom even before we have officially opened, and we are looking forward to serving the people of Kent, seven days a week, from our new Wincheap store.”
