JYSK reveals larger Bolton store opening date

Danish furniture retailer JYSK has announced the planned reopening of its new Bolton store.

The store, which is JYSK biggest UK premises, is situated on Gate Retail Park, Bolton, and will officially reopen on 17 August 2023.

The existing Bolton JYSK retail space has been fully refurbished and transformed into a JYSK XL store. The improved, larger 13,000sqft size space means that JYSK can offer customers, new and existing, an enriched customer shopping experience.

Ciaron Hearns, JYSK Sales and Marketing Manager, UK & Ireland, said: “JYSK Bolton is our most exciting UK store launch to date, it is our first XL store, and it has been designed to improve customer shopping experiences.

“Our Bolton customers will have seen the transformation of the Bolton store over the last three months, and we’re delighted to unveil all the hard work from the JYSK teams. Dedicated customers will see that the XL concept differs from our usual store format, now featuring more space and inspiration, as well as a wider product assortment, increased stock, and more creative and stylish displays.

“Not only this, but we’re pleased to include furniture and accessories from our assortment that are normally only exclusively available online. We are committed bringing our customers the best shopping experience possible, and so as with all JYSK UK stores, customers will be able to enjoy our brilliant same-day click and collect service, AnyVan local next day delivery service, and exclusive in-store lines. We are so looking forward to you there!”

This year, JYSK are planning to focus on bolstering their existing store portfolio to bring UK customers improved, refurbished stores with plans to bring all stores in the UK up to date with the 3.0 model by 2025 to ensure they’re providing the very best shopping environment for their product and customer.

JYSK has seen record results in the UK & Ireland during the financial year 2021/2022, increasing its turnover 11%.
