JYSK confirms two new Irish store opening dates

Danish furniture retailer JYSK has confirmed the opening dates for two more stores in Ireland.

The retailer plans to open a new store on Arcadia Retail Park in Athlone, Co. Westmeath on 25 August, creating around 12 jobs.

The new store features 12,000sqft of floor space and will become the retailer’s 17th store in Ireland.

JYSK also confirmed it will open another store, its 18th, in Co. Tipperary as it looks to continue to grow its portfolio.

This new store will be based at Powerstown Centre in Clonmel and will officially open on 15 September 2022.

Last year, JYSK opened six new outlets in Ireland. At the end of 2021, the Danish company said that it may open up to 10 new stores in Ireland over the following year, and eventually open 50.
