Starting her career as a Personal Assistant to the Sales Director in 1992, Julie Valentine has worked her way up throughout her career at Glasswells, becoming the Beds and Bedroom Buyer for Glasswells in 2009.

Due to Julie’s passion and high standards for her department, Glasswells were winners of two prestigious National Bed Federation awards in 2022; Outstanding Bed Store of the Year and the Large NBF Retail Champion of the Year. The immense choice available in store, paired with exceptional value, means customers can feel reassured when they choose a ‘NBF Approved’ bed from such a long-standing, reliable independent business.

Her strong and trusting relationship with suppliers, including Tempur, Hypnos and Relyon enables her to provide high-quality, durable and reliable beds and bedroom furniture to customers at the very best prices. With an extensive range of over 100 beds and mattresses plus over 50 bedroom ranges, Glasswells are able to offer a range of furniture in all styles, materials and designs to suit an array of personal tastes and preferences.

Julie’s shares her wealth of experience with the sales advisors, resulting in a well-rounded customer service, while her positivity and ‘can do’ attitude is incredibly infectious; she motivates her department to provide a professional service whilst creating a personal and trusting relationship between expert and customer.
