JFS visitor registrations rise double-digit

The organisers of the January Furniture Show (JFS) have revealed that visitor registrations ahead of this month’s event have increased on last year.

With registration already seeing a double digit increase year-on-year, early insights show growth in key customer segments such as independent retailers (+19%), department stores (+61%) and contract buyers (+54%).

Thousands of new and returning visitors have already registered for the show from the likes of; DFS, Stokers, Arighi Bianchi, ScS, Wayfair, John Lewis, Heal’s, Fishpools, Dunelm, Varis Group, Marks & Spencer, H&M Furniture and more.

Over 35% of total registrations are new, while its new VIP offering this year has resulted in increasing the buying budget across the audience and show floor.

The 2024 edition also boasts over 100 new exhibitors and will be a show of firsts, with a new Champagne Bar, enhanced VIP offering as mentioned above, a new Festival Food Court, and a focus on new and emerging brands.

Zoë Bonser, Portfolio Director, Clarion Retail, commented: “Following feedback from the market that the event landscape is too fragmented, our focus has been on investing in the growth of JFS as the national show that supports and represents the furniture and interiors industry.

“As an organiser we have ensured that our loyal customers are at the heart of everything we do. We’ve listened to their concerns and challenges and have put in place exciting new plans to continue to evolve JFS to be the event they want and need for the future.”
