Irish furniture retailer EZ Living Furniture has announced the opening of a new store in Waterford.

Situated on Cork Road, Kingsmeadow, the new store marks its 21st location and officially opened over the weekend of 6 July 2024.

The new store also follows recent openings in Cavan, located at Cavan Retail Park on Dublin Road, Killynebber, as well as an outlet store in Ashbourne, Co. Meath, a new store in Carlow at Carlow Retail Park and in Athlone, located at Daneswell Business Park, Monksland.

Commenting on the opening, the company said: “EZ Living Furniture is proud and excited to announce opening an exciting new store in Waterford. We are situated in Kingsmeadow off the Cork Road and we cannot wait to meet and become a part of the Waterford community.

EZ Living Furniture is also set to open a new £5m flagship store in Belfast, its second in the UK, after securing planning permission.

The business submitted a planning application to Belfast City Council to build the store on Boucher Road, which will create around 25 new jobs and is expected to open in 2025.

Furthermore, the company will also open a new store in Drogheda, which is expected to launch on 26 July 204.
