Independent to relocate one of its stores to larger unit

Independent furniture retailer The Furniture Warehouse has revealed plans to relocate one of its stores.

The Furniture Warehouse is taking over the former Beales store on Bridge Street in Spalding, moving from one of its current locations in Market Deeping.

The larger Spalding store will open on 2 March 2024 and will create five jobs. The business will close its Market Deeping store on 12 March.

The retailer said it is “disappointing” to be vacating Market Deeping, but added that the opportunity to take a larger premises was too good to turn down.

The business has also recently launched a store in Wisbech, situated at Church Terrace, which opened last month.

The Furniture Warehouse also operates out of stores in Peterborough and Corby.
