Independent furniture retailer Hallowood Furniture has announced the closure of one of its stores.

The business has closed the doors for the final time at The Shambles in Worcester city centre, which officially ceased to trade on 23 July 2022.

Hallowood confirmed that its other locations in Evesham, Redditch and Banbury will remain open and operate as normal, along with its website.

Commenting on the closure in a short social media post, Hallowood said: “It’s an end of an era as our Worcester Store has sadly closed down.

“Our other stores and online shops are open as normal. The nearest store would be Evesham after the Worcester store closing.”
