Independent carpet retailer opens second store

Independent carpet retailer Crowland Carpets has announced the opening of its new store in Bourne.

The new store is situated in Victor Way and the sees the company expand to two locations following the opening.

Crowland Carpets’ existing site is in The Deeping Centre, Market Deeping, where it has been established for seven years.

The new store was planned during the Covid pandemic with the initial idea being just a warehouse for customer orders in the area.

However, due to prices of units available, the business said it was more cost-efficient to open a larger site for a store rather than just a warehouse.

Crowland Carpets, which is owned by father-and-son duo Ben and Dekota Cowing, added that it has ‘high expectations for this store’, with ‘good vibes’ being felt already.
