Fashion and homewares retailer H&M has announced the opening of its latest H&M Home store in Gateshead.

The new H&M Home store is its first North East location and is situated in the Metrocentre Red Mall.

Officially opening on 26 May, the new 26,000sq ft store, which extends across two floors, features furniture and accessories for the home, as well as a clothing section.

Toni Galli, country manager for H&M UK & Ireland, said that the new opening ‘will be the leading store of the North East’.
