Home furnishing retailer Heal’s has submitted plans to expand into the vacant Habitat space on Tottenham Court Road in London.

According to its planning application submitted to Camden Council, Heal’s intends to takeover the neighbouring former Habitat store after a major refurbishment is complete.

Under this revamp, Heal’s plans to implement internal refurbishments as well as alterations to the basement and ground floor of both Heal’s and Habitat spaces.

Habitat closed its shop last year after more than 50 years of trading at the location.

In November 2021 the 182,000sqft Heal’s building was acquired by investor KKR and developer General Projects.
