Floorcoverings distributor Headlam has announced the appointment of Adam Phillips as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and will join the Board of Directors in April 2023.

Adam is currently Group Financial Controller at National Express Group PLC, the FTSE 250 leading international transport provider, where he is responsible for group financial reporting and control.

In addition, he heads up other group finance functions including Financial Planning and Analysis, and Investor Relations.

Prior to this Adam was at Halfords Group plc, the UK’s leading provider of Motoring and Cycling products and services, where latterly he was Corporate Finance Director and Group Strategy Director. Adam is a qualified Chartered Accountant having trained and spent 8 years with KPMG and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
