Scottish kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms furniture supplier Ashley Ann has reported a growth in sales as profit almost doubled.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 June 2022, total sales rose 17.8% to £24.4m from £20.7m in 2021. Pre-tax profit resulted at £637,000, up from £328,000 recorded in the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company said: “The prior trading period was impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and whilst this year it has improved, the company still had issues with supply chains and Covid related delays.

“This year was a successful year for the company, delivering good sales and profitability and an improvement on the prior period.”
