Bolton-based independent furniture retailer Global Interiors has temporarily shelved plans to expand its showroom to cater for a potential restaurant partnership.
Global Interior, which is situated on Blackburn Road in Astley Bridge, has previously rented out store space used as a café and is now searching for a new tenant following a landlord request.
In a statement, the business said: “We recently closed our instore cafe and tearoom and we are planning to turn the space into an extra showroom.
“However, our landlord has asked us to look for a restaurant tenant before we do that. So, before the “Restaurant To let” signs go in the windows, we thought we’d see if any business might be interested.
“The current space will seat at least 75 covers but more space could be made available, and we have free parking at the side of the building. The premises are fully licensed till 11pm, but these hours could be extended subject to the necessary permissions. The lease term would be for five years, so please do not approach for this unless you’re fully committed.
“If you are interested in having a chat, send us a direct message, or pop into the store during opening hours for a nosey.”
