Furniture retailer scoops double win at Ireland’s Digital Awards

Irish furniture retailer EZ Living Furniture is celebrating after winning two business awards.

EZ Living Furniture won the National Website of the Year Award, along with the Medium Business Website of the Year Award, at the Irish National Digital Awards.

The awards, which took place on Friday 3 March 2023, are organised by Digital Business Ireland and featured 22 categories demonstrating digital excellence in 2022.

Founded in Galway in 1998 by the Dilleen family, EZ Living Furniture has become one of Ireland’s most well known retail brands. Commenting on the awards, Robert Walsh the Digital & eCommerce Manager, said: “Every year my team at EZ Living Furniture puts a lot of hard work into making our website the best it can be for all of our customers. For us to win the medium business website of the year award at this year’s National Digital Awards for a second year running was a surprise but I was completely shocked when we were announced as winners of the National Website of the year for 2022.

“It means a lot to myself and the company to be recognised against such prestigious competition for the National Website of the year. I am so proud of the work each member of our team has done and this award gives them all the recognition that they deserve.

“Just like EZ Living Furniture as a company always wanting to grow and better ourselves, this is just a platform for us to continue our work and make the website even better for our current customers and new visitors to www.ezlivingfurniture.ie and www.ezlivingfurniture.co.uk over 2023. We won’t rest and have big plans in place for the future of our website and will continue to adapt to remain one of the best websites in Ireland.”

Ashley McDonnell, Chairperson of Digital Business Ireland, said: “This year’s National Digital Awards series has been the most impressive yet, highlighting the tremendous growth and development of the Irish digital commerce sector throughout 2022.

“We are deeply encouraged by the dynamism, ingenuity, innovation and talent of the businesses, organisations and people who got involved with the process this year.”
