Fasteners and components supplier Jet Press, which provides its products to various industries including furniture, has reported a growth in sales.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 April 2023, total sales rose 7.4% to £10.1m from £9.4m in 2022.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £834,000, up from £447,000 recorded the previous year.

UK sales rose 3.5% to £5.9m from £5.7m, while EU sales increased 16.6% to £3.5m from £3m. Revenues outside the EU also rose 4.3% to £627,000 to £601,000.

Stated within its report, the company said that its furniture division showed strong growth. “Sales revenue has shown an encouraging growth during this financial year, which resulted in us exceeding our budgetary expectation, and building on the progress instigated in the previous year.

“Key sectors such as Automotive, Industrial, Linefeeders and Furniture have shown strong growth in the UK. Export sales have also shown considerable growth during this financial year, with EU transactions having the continued continuity of our transit partner warehouse in the Czech Republic, which simplifies our deliveries in relation to the new EU trading conditions.”
