Furniture business to relocate to larger space

Ayrshire-based retailers in new and used furniture, FurnAyrshire, has announced plans to relocate to a larger premises.

The business is currently based in Auchinleck but will move to a new site in Kilmarnock to meet its growing demand.

In a statement, FurnAyrshire said: “Well, the time has come to sadly say we have outgrown our unit/warehouse in Auchinleck. We built our small business from nothing during covid lockdowns and have enjoyed working in the industrial estate. However, we’ve got to the point we need a physical shop.

“All terms have been agreed with the new landlord and our lovely current landlord. We hope to gain entry to the new shop at the end of next week then will gradually be moving over.

“We have made some amazing memories working on the estate and are very sad to leave but we have a great opportunity to grab in Kilmarnock so taking a huge leap.

“Shop hours in Kilmarnock will be decided once we are ready to open the new shop, we are super excited to see you all and many new customers in store when we open up.”
