Furniture brand Furniture Outlet Stores has announced plans to open a new store in Colchester.

Remaining tight lipped on the location and official opening date, the new store will be situated inside a large warehouse in the city.

It is expected to open this Spring, adding to its other three outlets in Dagenham, Leigh-on-Sea and Wickford.

In a social post, the business said: “We’ve been keeping it quiet, but we’re excited to share the news: we’re opening a large outlet in Colchester this Spring! The full address and opening day will be announced very soon.

“For those of you who participated in our social media poll (‘Where next do you want an outlet?’), please note that we are still searching for suitable sites in the Enfield and Bromley areas, so more outlets are coming soon to where you wanted them most.”
