Furniture and interiors business Design House has announced it will close one of its two stores to focus on the other.

Design House Southsea, situated on Marmion Road in Portsmouth, has launched a closing down sale, bringing an end to a decade of trading at the location.

The owners said that the decision to close the store was to focus on its sister store in Winchester.

A statement said: “After 10 years of successful trading & meeting so many lovely customers Keith & Peter have decided to focus on their Winchester business.

“A BIG THANK YOU to all our loyal customer & we look forward to looking after you from our Winchester showroom.”

The Winchester store is located on Great Minster Street.
