Furnishings group renews and expands Blinds 2go license

Luxury interior design and furnishings group, Sanderson Design Group PLC, has announced the renewal and expansion of its licensing agreement with Blinds 2go.

Blinds 2go is part of Hunter Douglas Group, one of the world’s largest window coverings companies, and sells made-to-measure blinds, curtains and shutters online.

The agreement covers a number of the Company’s brands and has been expanded into an umbrella agreement focused on driving international sales. Geographic territories in the agreement are dependent on individual brands and include the UK, Europe, Scandinavia, Japan, Australasia and the USA, a key target market for the Group.

Accelerated licensing income of £1.1m will be recognised by the Group in the current financial year in respect of the agreement, reflecting agreed minimum guaranteed revenues.

Products covered in the agreement include roller blinds, Roman blinds and curtains and the three-year agreement is backdated to start on 1 November 2023.

Alison Gore, Global Creative Director at Hunter Douglas’s eComm division, said: “We are delighted to announce the further extension of our licensing agreement with Sanderson Design Group. Since our collaboration began in 2014 it has been a journey marked by creativity, innovation, and shared success.

“We are excited to continue to build on this fruitful partnership, bringing exceptional designer window coverings online to our customers worldwide and look forward to continuing to build on the partnership as we continue to drive our ambitious growth plans into the future.”

Lisa Montague, Sanderson Design Group’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “Blinds 2go is one of our core licensing partners and a highly successful business. We are therefore delighted to sign this three-year renewal agreement covering a number of our brands in multiple regions internationally.

“The target regions are dependent on brand but include the USA, a key strategic focus for the Group. We have a long working relationship with Blinds 2go and look forward to collaborating with them on the design transfer and development of these new window-covering products.”
