French furniture retailer expands in US; reopens Paris store

French furniture retailer Roche Bobois has expanded its US presence as well as reopening one of its native stores following a refurbishment.

Roche Bobois has continued its development in the United States and has opened a new point of sale store in Sarasota, Florida.

Covering an area of 700 m², this new store is the brand’s fifth in Florida and the first on the west coast of this state. Roche Bobois has 33 stores in the US, including 28 owned, three in the process of being acquired and two franchised.

Furthermore, the Roche Bobois store on avenue du Maine in Paris 14th has reopened its doors after two months of extensive work.

“Faced with the increased attractiveness of the district, thanks in particular to the opening of the Les Ateliers Gaité shopping centre, the store underwent a spectacular renovation,” the company said.

“On 450m², the collections are lit with natural light on two levels of exposure. The customer experience remains a major concern with generous atmospheres, the central presence of a creative studio and as well as a large format touch pad to show the website and its capabilities, in particular the customisation of finishes. Specifically at this address, exhibitions of contemporary photographs will enhance the atmosphere and flesh out the brand message.”

On the occasion of this reopening, Roche Bobois welcomed the works of photographer Thomas Jorion, from his Veduta series.
