Flooring manufacturing group Karndean has reported another growth in sales and profit.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2022, total sales were up 2.3% to £110.4m from £107.9m in 2021, further adding to its growth of 25.4% from £86m in 2020.

UK sales rose 3.9% to £95.8m from £92.2m, while EU revenues decreased to £13.1m from £15.3m.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £16.6m, up from £15.6m recorded the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company said: “The strong performance seen in 2021 as pent-up demand was released when all restrictions were lifted continued into 2022.”

As for its parent group, total global sales rose 5.6% to $401m from $379.7m, with pre-tax profit resulting at $6.3m, significantly improving from a loss of $1.5m.
