Fitted kitchens and fitted wardrobes supplier Sigma 3 has reported a growth in sales and profit.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 September 2023, total sales rose 2.6% to £30.9m from £30.1m in 2022.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £2.1m, up from its £1.8m profit recorded the previous year.

Stated within its report, the Sigma said: “The company continued to invest in the redevelopment of the additional factory, equipment and deposits totalling £1.6m was prepaid to machine suppliers.

“The full investment in the new machines which will increase manufacturing capacity will be commissioned in the year to September 2024. The long term investment will enable the business to facilitate its future expansion plans.

“The company is committed to maintaining the growth trend seen in recent years and has continued to improve its Balance Sheet. Implementation of continuous improvement initiatives in business processes coupled with the investment in automation will enhance efficiencies within the company.”
