Fitted furniture firm posts sales growth and remains profitable

Fitted furniture manufacturer JTC Furniture has reported a growth in sales with profit remaining over £1m.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2021, total sales rose 15.9% to £18.3m from £15.7m in 2020.

Gross profit increased from £4.5m to £6.5m, while pre-tax profit resulted at just over £1m, down from £1.7m recorded the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company said its early action during 2020 to resize the cost of the company to cater for a ‘slow and lengthy’ recovery to the marketplace due to the Covid-19 pandemic, allowed the business to remain profitable.
