Furnishings and homeware retailer Dunelm has announced plans to rollout a community DIY help service across its stores and online.
Following a successful trial, where Dunelm collaborated with Airtasker across 18 stores, which included more than 500 tasks, the service is to expand to all 180 Dunelm stores and on Dunelm.com.
Dunelm said: “Airtasker makes it easy to find people in your local area with the skills, time, tools and strength that your home tasks need.
“We’re helping Airtasker find people in our communities that want to turn their skills, interests and helpful natures into a little extra income by helping Dunelm customers.
“It’s fully flexible and easy to earn with Airtasker even if you’ve only got a couple of hours a week, and you don’t need to pay Airtasker a penny until you get paid for a job well done.
“The response from both customers and Taskers to date has been encouraging, so we look forward to extending the partnership across our full store estate and online.”
Airtasker is an easy-to-use website and app where users post jobs that need completing and get matched with local people who can help.
