Supplier of decorative panel products, Lawcris, has reported another growth in sales as profit remained strong.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2022, total sales rose 16.1% to £109.6m from £94.4m in 2021, adding to its growth of 38.8% from £68m in 2020.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £12.4m, slightly down from £13.8m recorded the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company said: “Turnover has increased on the previous year despite continued economic strains. Gross profit margins have decreased as anticipated in reflection of an easing within the supply chains though remain at an acceptable level.

“Overheads continue to be carefully managed. The company continues to be well placed to navigate the uncertain times ahead.”
