Deanestor reaches fit out milestone

Mansfield-based furniture manufacturer Deanestor has revealed it has now fitted out more than 12,500 student rooms to date – from Edinburgh to Exeter – which is a significant milestone for the business.

The company works with developers, operators, contractors and universities across the UK, providing bespoke built-in furniture that is specifically designed for student bedrooms, studios and kitchens.‍

Will Tonkinson, Managing Director, said: “The standard of design and finish of our fitted furniture has strong tenant appeal to help generate increased revenue for operators. Our designers engineer bedroom and kitchen furniture solutions that can be rolled out on multiple projects to reduce design time and cost.

“We help developers to make the very best use of the space available and can accommodate more variations to suit each site and building design. The quality and longevity of our pre-assembled furniture just aren’t possible with flatpack furniture manufactured outside the UK.

“We predominantly use robust glue and dowel construction for our cabinetry to withstand the rigours of student living and retained assets. Our site managers, supervisors and project managers for the fitout phase are directly employed for higher and more consistent quality and more accurate installation regardless of scale or complexity. We are looking forward to the next 12,000!”
