Danish homewares retailer Søstrene Grene has announced plans to open a new store in Hampshire.

Situated at Festival Place in Basingstoke, the new store will be the retailers first in the area and is expected to open later this year.

The new store will include furniture and interiors, alongside other home décor products and forms part of its ongoing expansion in the UK.

Søstrene Grene currently has over 270 stores worldwide, with the aim of having 100 stores across the UK by 2030. It recently announced it will open its first East Anglian store, situated on London Street in Norwich, which is also set to open later this year.

Other recent store openings over the past 12 months include York, London, Cheltenham, Kingston, High Wycombe, Bracknell, and Sheffield, as well as in Liverpool and Leamington Spa.
