Danish furniture retailer secures Irish store approval

Danish furniture retailer JYSK has been given the green light to open a new store in Ireland.

Back in November last year, JYSK submitted a planning application to Kilkenny County Council proposing to implement alterations at a retail unit at the Kilkenny Retail and Business Park in Springhill, Kilkenny City.

As part of the plans, this includes the construction of a new first floor mezzanine retail space, as well as internal improvements.

Following a review, and subject to a number of conditions, the council has now approved the plans, allowing JYSK to move forward with the new store.
