Furniture wholesaler Kettle Interiors has reported a growth in sales and profit.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 October 2021, total sales rose 14.5% to £24.7m from £21.5m in 2020.
Gross profit increased from £4.3m to £6.9m, while pre-tax profit resulted at £887,000, improving by 178% compared to its profit of £318,000 recorded the previous year.
Stated within its report, Kettle said that consumer demand for its products received a significant boost, with gross profit margin increasing from 20% to 28% year-on-year.
“The number of active customers increased by over 20% and the launch of several new product brands has also helped increase turnover,” the business added.
