Charity furniture store to close in Norfolk

Charity Age UK has confirmed plans to close one of its Furniture and More stores in Norfolk next year.

Located on Yaxham Road in Dereham, the store, which mainly sells furniture and white goods, is expected to close in February 2024.

In a statement, Age UK said that the reason behind the closure was due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the ongoing cost-of-living crisis hindering consumers spending on non-essential retail.

The charity thanked its local community and volunteers for the continued support as it prepares to close.
