Carpet retailer Tapi Carpets & Floors is making good progress on its new store development in Crewe.

Tapi submitted plans for a Crewe store earlier this year, with Cheshire East Planning approving an application for external alterations to the former Shoe Zone store in May.

The store is situated on Grand Junction Retail Park and has been undergoing fitout works over the last couple of months.

This includes the addition of two new glazed sections to either side of the unit’s main entrance doors.

Now, signs have gone up at the front of the store stating: “Tapi Carpets & Floors opening soon. Until we open, your nearest store is Tapi Stoke, Unit 2A, Festival Retail Park, Hanley.”

Tapi Carpets & Floors was founded in 2015 and currently operates over 170 stores across the UK.
