BoConcept franchisee group delivers strong growth

The leading UK franchisee group of Danish furniture brand BoConcept has reported a growth in sales and profit.

Concept Living, which has nine established retail locations including a concession in Harrods, posted sales of £16.2m for the year ended 31 October 2021, up 32% from £12.3m in 2020.

Gross profit increased from £5.7m to £7.3m, while pre-tax profit resulted at £812,000, significantly improving from its loss of £292,000 recorded the previous year.

Stated within its report, the group said that despite the impact of Covid, EBITDA increased £1.06m, with net cash also up 22% to £800,000.

“The group has come out stronger than ever, mainly as a result of the strength of its relationships with all the key stakeholders within the business.

“The group has made significant investment in its Trade and Contract Department, resulting in significant growth this year within this sector. This area has huge potential for further growth and has secured some high value orders.”
