BFM partners with Clarion Events

A new ‘Club BFM’ area, member discounts and a pavilion for first-time exhibitors will feature at the January Furniture Show 2024.

British Furniture Manufacturers (BFM) has renewed and strengthened their partnership with Clarion Events ahead of JFS, which takes place at the NEC Birmingham on January 21 to 24.

Club BFM will form part of the VIP suite at the show, while the pavilion will offer exhibition opportunities for new BFM members or smaller BFM members looking to exhibit at JFS for the first time.

BFM MD, Phil Spademan said: “I am delighted to announce our renewed strategic partnership with Clarion Events. This collaboration supports the status of JFS as a landmark event in the industry calendar, as well as ensuring the show continues to evolve with the introduction of the Club BFM area and the new exhibitors’ pavilion.

“One of the many benefits of our partnership with Clarion will be a range of discounts for exhibiting members, including 7.5% off for the first show and 5% thereafter. We also welcome their support of our Future of Furniture awards.”

BFM represents more than 160 member companies in the furniture industry, from sole traders making hand-crafted furniture to household names with stores across the nation.

Clarion Events strives to connect people, communities and opportunities, while constantly looking for innovation and improvement for their live events and digital products.

Zoe Bonser, Portfolio Director for the Retail division at Clarion Events said: “I am delighted to announce the strengthening of the ongoing collaboration between the January Furniture Show and the British Furniture Manufacturers Association. This updated partnership represents Clarion’s commitment to supporting and championing the British furniture industry by creating the UK’s largest platform for BFM’s members to connect and do business.

“This year I look forward to seeing the launch of the BFM pavilion, extension of the VIP programme and offering, as well as a more joined up marketing approach and focus on highlighting British Furniture Manufacturers.

“I am confident that this renewed partnership will not only leverage BFM members presence in the industry, but will also foster a deeper sense of connection between buyers, sellers and the wider furniture and design community, setting the stage for a successful and productive show in 2024.”
