Bespoke furniture company sees founder resign

David Armstrong-Jones, 2nd Earl of Snowdon, cousin to King Charles and known professionally as David Linley, has resigned as a director of David Linley Furniture, the company he founded some 40 years ago.

According to recent filings on Companies House, David has resigned as a director of David Linley Holdings, David Linley & Co and David Linley Furniture.

The reason remains unclear at this stage, with the company declining to comment following an approach.

Earlier this year, the company, which was originally founded back in 1982, reported a return to pre-tax profit to £300,000, significantly improving from a loss of £1.4m, for the year ended 27 June 2021, with sales registering £6.8m.
