Bed retailers encouraged to engage in National Bed Month campaign 

The National Bed Federation (NBF) has announced a new theme for its annual National Bed Month campaign and asks the bed trade to get involved by downloading its free new marketing toolkit ahead of March.

This year’s theme positions the bed as a “miracle product”, emphasising the positive effects regular, quality sleep on a comfortable and supportive bed has on our health and wellbeing. A new video, which brings the theme to life, will premiere on 1st March across the NBF and its consumer service Bed Advice UK’s social media platforms.

The campaign encourages consumers to start their journey to a better life with a new bed, highlighting the benefits of investing in a bed, particularly one made by an NBF-approved manufacturer member, advice on bed care to prolong its lifespan and expert sleep tips from the NBF’s partner, The Sleep Charity.

Simon Williams, head of marketing and membership, said: “We’re really excited for this year’s National Bed Month. Armed with a fresh theme, a revamped marketing toolkit and a captivating video, the campaign is a valuable opportunity for the bed trade to bolster new sales during the typically quieter month of March.

“The video has a strong message that the humble bed has the potential to be transformative because when we sleep on a comfortable and supportive mattress, we can feel, look, concentrate, and perform better – to name a few benefits! Keep an eye out for the video on Friday 1st March.”
