Beds retailer Dreams has announced the opening of its new store in Taunton.

Situated at the Riverside Retail Park in Taunton, the new Dreams store marks a return to the area after 10 years and includes the addition of its luxury bed brand, Feather & Black.

The new store has created five jobs for the local area, while the store layout has been designed to maximise customers’ in-store experience and features mattress brands including Tempur and Silentnight, as well as its exclusive TheraPur and The Dream Team range.

The official opening took place on 23 September, with the retailer launching a 10% special discount on all products running until 26 September to celebrate the occasion.

Taunton’s Mayor, Councillor Susan Lees, was in attendance and led the official ribbon cutting alongside store manager, Mark Warriner, divisional manager, Douglas Truesdale, and Chief Marketing Officer, Jo Martin.

Jonathan Hirst, CEO of Dreams, said: “At Dreams, we are continuing to grow our bricks and mortar network and we’re thrilled to be opening another omni-channel store, to offer customers both Dreams and Feather & Black products. With our next closest store around 20 miles away, we can now provide customers in the Taunton area with a fantastic product range in an easily accessible location.”
