Bed manufacturer Silentnight appoints new CEO

Bed manufacturer Silentnight has announced the appointment of Tracey Bamber as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Tracey succeeds Neil Anderson, who has been in the role since 2019 and will remain with the business until April to oversee a smooth transition process.

Tracey joins from Culligan International and has also held previous senior roles at Newell Brands, Franke, and Zip Water.

Commenting on the transition, Richard Cotter, chairman of Silentnight, paid tribute to Neil who has been ‘pivotal to the success of the business’, while adding that the company ‘looks forward to more success under Tracey’s leadership’.

Richard said: “Neil leaves with the very best wishes of everyone at Silentnight. His work over the past four years been pivotal to the success of the business and we are now uniquely placed to capitalize on this, building on our purpose of being the UK’s most trusted sleep brand and growing our presence in the wider sleep category. We wish Neil well for his next chapter and look forward to more success under Tracey’s leadership.”
