Furniture retailer DFS has announced the appointment of Gill Barr as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company.

Joining the business from 1 March 2023, Gill will also be appointed as the Chair of the Remuneration Committee from that date and as a member of the Audit and Nomination Committees. She is currently a Non-Executive Director of Wincanton PLC, N Brown Plc and Paypoint Plc.
