The furniture manufacturing division of fashion and homewares retailer Next has reported a growth in sales as turnover surpassed £10m.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 29 January 2022, total sales rose 49% to £11.6m from £7.7m in 2021.

Gross profit increased from £10,000 to £437,000, while pre-tax losses narrowed from £5.1m to a loss of £1.9m.

Stated within its report, Next said year-end cash resulted at £2.1m, significantly up from £403,000 the previous year, with current assets totalling a value of £9.9m.
