Independent furniture business Harbour Furniture & Hampshire Home Styles has revealed plans to close.

The business, which is based on Fawcett Rd in Southsea, Portsmouth, is currently holding a closing down sale, citing ‘economic uncertainty’ as the main reason behind the closure.

Owned by Iain Styles, the company thanked its customers over social media and said: “It is with great sadness that I have to announce that I will be shutting up shop for the final time in the next few weeks.

“The last two and a half years have been tough on us all, and unfortunately the current economic uncertainty has forced me into this decision.

“I’d like to thank all my customers past and present for their support.”
