Manufacturer and distributor of decorative lighting, Elstead Lighting, has reported a growth in sales and return to profit.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 July 2024, total sales rose 5% to £10.6m from £10.1m in 2023.
Pre-tax profit resulted at £46,000, improving from its loss of £1.6m recorded the previous year.
UK sales were down from £7.8m to £7.6m, while EU revenues rose from £1.7m to £2.4m. Rest of the world sales were down from £530,000 to £516,000.
Stated within its report, the company said: “As part of the wider Elstead group of companies, Elstead Lighting Limited has provided investment for, and will benefit from significant investments in, expanding the product offering with the introduction of five new partner brands.
“This development forms part of the Group’s wider strategy to diversify its portfolio and meet evolving customer demand. The new product ranges include a move into the luxury segment, enhancing the companies positioning and appeal to premium markets.
“The new partner brand products, currently in development, go live as of mid-2025.”
