Bed manufacturer Hypnos has announced that Ashley Garside, head of operations, has won ‘Production Leader’ in the Next Generation Awards 2025.
The Next Generation Awards are part of Commercial Interiors UK’s commitment to celebrating the expertise of its members in contract furnishing industry. Spotlighting emerging leaders and celebrating innovation, the Next Generation Awards are a highlight of the industry’s calendar.
Hypnos is delighted to report that our Head of Operations Ashley Garside, has won the ‘Production Leader’ award in last week’s ceremony, held at Manchester’s iconic Hallé St Peters. Ashley (Ash) has been recognised by the judges for his significant project and team leadership to achieve targets.
The judges commented: “Ashley’s people-first approach, combined with a clear focus on quality and efficiency, has created real momentum at Hypnos. His ability to lead with humility, clarity, and impact makes him a standout talent and a powerful role model for future leaders.”
Ash was awarded for his work on the ‘One Hypnos’ project that saw the reintegration of hospitality mattresses and beds manufacturing to Princes Risborough – the ‘Home of Hypnos’. With objectives to integrate manufacturing and foster a ‘One Hypnos’ culture, alongside fulfilling ongoing commitments to UK and global customers, Ash headed up this business critical project.
Through the project Ash delivered incremental gains that have led to a significant increase in capacity and improved efficiency, while developing a new approach to quality and craftmanship for which Hypnos is renowned and ensuring that employees felt supported and valued throughout the integration.
