Bedding supplier Bedeck has reported a growth in turnover and a return to profit.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 25 September 2021, total sales rose 7.4% to £31.8m from £29.6m in 2020.

Gross profit increased from £16.2m to £17m, while pre-tax profit resulted at £2m, a significant improvement on its loss of £443,000 recorded the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company said that UK sales improved 6% to £29.9m from £28.2m, while Ireland revenues had slipped 5.3% from £1m to £947,000.

However, sales to the rest of the world more than doubled, increasing 159% to £994,000 from £383,000 the previous year.
