Barker and Stonehouse is a family run company business founded in 1946 with great products and superb presentation. We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and flexible 7.5T Drivers for our Crawley Warehouse.

Duties include :
· Vehicle safety, maintenance and cleanliness
· Daily route planning and control of delivery documentation
· Safe loading and unloading of furniture to customer properties and warehouses
· Communication with customers, stores and warehouses
· Some furniture assembly in customer properties
· Collection of returns and recycled furniture
· Plan and drive to predetermined appointments with due care and attention
· Liaise with customers to confirm delivery times
· Ensure furniture is unwrapped and checked for any damage prior to leaving the customer’s properties
· Maintain vehicle to the legal requirements and as outlined in the Driver’s handbook
· Adhere to health and safety rules and regulations
· Other reasonable duties within the job holder’s capabilities
